I feel strongly that diabetes educators and other healthcare professionals have a responsibility to invest in future healthcare professionals. I have the honor of teaching and precepting pharmacy students. During my time with these students, my passion for working with persons with diabetes and educating others about diabetes is weaved throughout my time with these students. Most recently, I have had the privilege of precepting Freddi Mehlhorn who wrote the Reece’s Pieces hurricane preparedness blog. Thank you Freddi for your hard work!
